Algenta Lends its Expertise and Technical Understanding of Survey Instruments to the DDI
Representatives of Algenta Technologies will visit The Centre for Survey Research and Methodology (ZUMA) in Mannheim, Germany to participate in the Data Documentation Initiative’s expert committee meeting. “We have been working with the DDI’s Data Collection working group for the past two years,” stated Dan Smith, a Senior Technical Staff Member at Algenta, adding “It is exciting to see our work come together with the other contributions, helping to create a metadata model that encompasses the entire data lifecycle.” Version 3 of the DDI metadata standard is scheduled for public release in 2007. Algenta has committed to supporting the standard in its survey instrument and survey data product lines.
